Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC in Marietta, GA is seeking an entry-level Calibration Technician with a background in mechanical, electrical, or related fields. The role involves calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment in both the laboratory and at customer sites, with opportunities to work independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years' mechanical, electrical, HVAC or related experience
• Hands-on calibration work experience is preferred
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and/or a combination of experience and education

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and verification of mechanical inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Conduct calibration activities in the laboratory and at customer facilities as needed.
• Document calibration results accurately and maintain compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and provide technical support to customers and team members.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and operation of calibration equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians to meet timelines and deliver high-quality service.
• Regional travel to customer sites with up to 20% overnight travel; travel is mostly to local customers.
• The Field Service Technician duties would include but not limited to field calibration work.
• Technician would also be required to receive training in-lab and in the field upon hiring.
• Technician would also on occasion be required to work in-lab when field work was not fully booked.
