ETI Precision in Frederick, MD is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team full-time. You will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments at customer sites, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and conformance to industry standards.

You will travel up to 80% to client sites, maintain meticulous calibration records, and communicate project updates while upholding safety and quality requirements.

ETI Precision is looking for a talented calibration technician to join its growing team in Frederick, MD ! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. As a calibration technician, you will be relied upon by both our customers and your colleagues within an environment that values professional development opportunities.

Location:

On-site at various customer sites in Frederick, MD and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in Frederick, MD

Pay Information:

• Level 0 starts at $26
• Level I starts at $27
• Level II starts at $28
• Level III starts at $32

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
• Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
• Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
• Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability and w illingness to travel to customer locations w ith frequent overnight, out-of-state travel, Monday through Friday, up to 80% of the year. This may also include rare w eekend travel.

Nice to have:

• At least two years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
• Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
• Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training
• Metrology experience
• Experience with IndySoft
