Accredited Labs, a leading calibration services provider, is seeking Calibration Technicians of all levels to join our Houston team. This on-site role involves performing accurate calibrations at customer sites and maintaining meticulous records with strong communication to clients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Calibration Technician - Field (Aldinger)

Houston, TX

We are seeking Calibration Technicians of all levels to join our team at Aldinger an Accredited Labs company, a leading calibration services provider.

Location: On-site at various customer sites in Houston, TX and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in Houston, TX.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
• Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
• Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
• Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

Basic Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Good organizational and prioritization skillsMust have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the Dallas, TX area and occasional overnight out-of-state travel (1 to 2 nights once a month and potentially up to 1 week on a volunteer basis)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
• Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
• Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training
• Experience with IndySoft
