Job description

The Role:

We are seeking Calibration Technicians of all levels to join our team at Aldinger Co, a leading calibration services provider.

Experience in our industry is not required and training will be provided upon hire. Making this position suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with experience. Join our team and become a crucial part of our mission to provide accurate and reliable calibration services to our clients.

Location: On-site at various customer sites in Little Rock, AR and Surrounding Areas. Occasionally, at our office in Little Rock, AR. Please note the first 2 weeks, you will be training at our Dallas headquarters.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites.
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
  • Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the Little Rock, AR area and occasional overnight out-of-state travel (1 to 2 nights once a month and potentially up to 1 week on a volunteer basis).

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment.
  • Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems.
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields.
  • Technical Degree or Certificate.
  • Military PMEL Training.
  • Metrology experience.
  • Experience with IndySoft.
