Job summary

Akkodis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Calibration System Integration Engineer for a 12-month onsite assignment. You will lead commissioning, integration and testing of calibration resources, including HIL, Dyno and full vehicle testing, and act as the primary contact for system-level validation.

BS in engineering and 2+ years calibration experience are required. Strong CAN knowledge, good written and verbal communication, and a disciplined test plan are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years calibration experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle CAN protocols and CAN database understanding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High analytical ability and creativity.
• Ability to balance multiple issues effectively.
• Disciplined approach to test plans and verification.
• Strong knowledge of the Powertrain system.

Responsibilities

• System and cross-feature calibration and validation (drive modes, SOC, range estimation, EOL, HMI).
• First-run support for HIL, Dyno and vehicle properties.
• Lead validation of PCR package identifying HW/SW/calibration gaps before release.
• FE/Emissions support - dyno data review and vehicle triage.
• Lead/support calibration trips to meet program milestones.
• Data summaries from trips and fleet for calibration maturity.
• AVL Drive Testing scheduling and improvements.
• Support all issue resolution (GIMs, IMS, etc.).
