Job summary

OTTO Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Calibration & Metrology Specialist to manage calibration programs, perform precise inspections, and support AS9100/ISO quality systems.

The ideal candidate will have a technical associate degree and 3+ years in manufacturing quality, with GD&T proficiency and CMM experience. The role requires attention to detail, independent work, and readiness to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum three years in a manufacturing quality environment.
• Experience operating surface plate layout inspections and CMMs.
• AS9100/ISO9001/ISO14001 awareness and GD&T proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage OTTO's calibration program, scheduling, records, and external calibration coordination.
• Perform calibration and inspection activities using CMMs, surface plates, and optical/mechanical systems.
• Review calibration certificates for accuracy and compliance; investigate out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Support internal and external audits and continuous improvement within quality systems.
