Job description

Reliance One, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Calibration Engineer to support engine calibration and validation efforts for our automotive client in San Antonio. This full-time, on-site position is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about engine performance and control systems.

As a Calibration Engineer, you will:

• Understand and apply engine operating fundamentals, engine management strategies, and calibration techniques
• Deliver high-quality engine and application calibrations that meet performance targets and customer expectations
• Test new and existing engine products to ensure they are suitable for integration into customer applications
• Provide technical support to customers related to calibration and engine management systems
• Perform additional duties and support engineering efforts as assigned

Calibration Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of PC-based tools including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software
• Basic understanding of electrical, software, and mechanical engineering disciplines
• Familiarity with concepts such as hydraulics, pneumatics, thermodynamics, and compressible flow
• Understanding of engine control systems, lab test equipment, and calibration methodologies
