We are seeking a hands‑on Calibration Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on engine development, emissions certification, and new product innovation. This position will play a key role in the development and calibration of spark ignition engines while supporting testing, validation, and certification efforts.

About the Role
Develop and calibrate spark ignition engines for gasoline, propane, and natural gas applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine management system calibration for new product development programs
- Conduct EPA and CARB emissions certification testing
- Execute mobile, stationery, and on‑road engine testing
- Support high-performance engine testing and validation
- Collect, analyze, and interpret engine performance data
- Generate detailed test reports and technical documentation
- Maintain and operate emissions testing and data acquisition equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams throughout the development process
Qualifications
- Experience calibrating internal combustion engines
- Strong understanding of spark ignition engine operation and performance
- Experience using AVL or Kistler in‑cylinder pressure transducers
- Data acquisition and analysis experience
- Experience operating and maintaining emissions testing equipment
- Ability to work hands‑on with engines and prototype products
- Self‑motivated with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
