Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15AM – 5:00PM, OT as needed

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Calibration and Inspection Technician, you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining quality standards by ensuring incoming custom manufactured equipment conforms to specifications. Documents nonconformities and quarantines rejected materials. Assists Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing personnel with root cause analysis and vendor returns. Calibrates production acceptance gauges by verifying adherence to specifications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Performs precision dimensional and visual inspection of custom manufactured tooling and equipment upon receipt from vendors. Ensures conformance to controlled LifeNet Health specifications
- Performs precision calibration of production acceptance gauges in accordinance with controlled calibration procedures.
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections of production tooling and equipment in accordance with controlled specifications and procedures
- Uses CATSWEB (CAPA) system to enter nonconformance issues and equipment out of tolerance issues. Assists Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing staff while resolving CAPA issues and actions. Responsible for controlling nonconforming material throughout the issue resolution process.
- Completes and maintains all required documentation and quality records in accordance with controlled procedures. This includes management of paper and electronic records.
- Procedures and distributes a daily backlog and work status report
- Maintains a work order history database and regularly reports performance metrics.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Drivers License – Valid State Drivers License and meet LNH minimum requirements for driving company vehicles
- ONE (1) year – Engineering, skilled trades, machining, dimensional inspection, manufacturing, or related field
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
- Associate or completed vocational training – In skilled trade, engineering technology, or equivalent
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector of Equivalent – Certification demonstrating competency in dimensional inspection or calibration
- THREE (3) years – Engineering, skilled trades, machining, dimensional inspection, or related field
Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Basic Instrumentation: Able to accurately utilize micrometers, rulers, calipers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, radius gauges, optical comparator, etc. to measure linear, diametrical, and radial part geometry
- Gauge selection and application: Able to select and use appropriate measuring instruments for an application based on required precision and accuracy
- Documentation: Able to generate handwritten documentation in a legible manner and demonstrate awareness of CATSWEB system
- Mathematics: Able to solve basic arithmetic and right-angle trigonometry problems using a scientific calculator
- Computer Software: Basic ability to open and edit files using MS Office applications and navigate the Windows file system
- Interpret Specifications: Basic ability to interpret technical drawings
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, building relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization
- Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, completing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
- Attention to detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery
- Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $22.40 - $37.33
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $22.40 hourly (entry level qualifications) to $37.33 hourly (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
