Job summary

Redner's Markets in Reading, PA is seeking a Cake Decorator to decorate all ordered cakes in the Bakery department. You will report to the Bakery Manager and work on maintaining clean, inviting shelves while ensuring accurate pricing and packaging.

Responsibilities include decorating cakes, handling special orders, assisting in baking when needed, and upholding all company policies. The role requires strong customer service and physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves.
• Control freshness by coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Maintain the regular cleaning and sanitation program established by company policies.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Greet all customers and be observant to you surroundings.
• To ensure all cake orders are completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
