Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator to create decorated cakes and desserts, applying finishes and designs per recipes and standards. You will ensure display cases are stocked and visually consistent while processing customer orders and maintaining an organized work area.

The role requires cake decorating experience, 18+ years of age, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Clear communication when taking orders and gathering details for custom requests.
• Experience with icing, piping, and finishing techniques for cakes and pastries.
• Familiarity with preparing icing, whipped toppings, and decorative elements.
• Consistency in design execution, labeling, and presentation.
• Manage multiple orders while maintaining workflow and meeting timelines.
• Maintain visually consistent and well‑stocked display cases.
• Ability to read and interpret order forms and production instructions.
• Comfort working with changing priorities and varying order volume.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and product handling requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and decorate cakes and desserts following established recipes and standards.
• Prepare icings, whipped toppings, and decorative elements for display and orders.
• Process customer orders, review details, and ensure accuracy before production.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and ensure display cases are visually appealing and stocked.
