Job summary

Price Chopper is hiring a bakery associate in Essex Junction, VT. You will provide fast, friendly service and assist customers with cake orders and general bakery requests. You will operate bakery equipment and keep a clean, organized workstation following 5S standards.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
Smile, make eye contact and thank customers when fulfilling requests.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation per 5S standards.
Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality and sanitary conditions.
Assist with bakery inventory and production planning as directed by the Bakery Manager.
Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils.
Assist the bakery team in absence of the manager or first clerk.
Adhere to company policies and sanitation regulations.
Handle special cake orders and customer requests.
