Job summary

Gila River Business Enterprises is seeking a Cake Decorator to design, decorate, and prepare high-quality cakes and baked goods in accordance with customer specifications and store standards.

You will greet customers, collaborate on design ideas, fulfill custom orders, and ensure timely completion. The role requires attention to detail, food safety, and the ability to work a 40-hour week in a retail bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in food safety or sanitation within 30 days of hire.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Drug test required and agreement to maintain a drug-free workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously at the bakery counter and maintain professionalism.
• Collaborate with customers on design ideas and specifications for custom orders.
• Decorate cakes using icing, fondant, and decorative elements to meet standards.
• Fulfill custom orders and ensure timely completion and pickup times.
• Maintain an appealing, fully stocked bakery case and support daily operations.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and assist with opening/closing procedures.
