Albertsons Companies is seeking a Cake Decorator to craft decorated cakes and desserts, prepare icings, and complete custom orders per established recipes and standards.

You will maintain clean work areas, ensure display cases are stocked, and process customer orders with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 18+, decorating experience, and flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Clear communication when taking orders and gathering details for custom requests
• Experience with icing, piping, and finishing techniques for cakes and pastries
• Familiarity with preparing icing, whipped toppings, and decorative elements
• Consistency in design execution, labeling, and presentation aligned with order specifications
• Effective management of multiple orders while maintaining workflow and meeting timelines
• Understanding of how to maintain visually consistent and well‑stocked display cases
• Ability to read and interpret order forms, tags, and production instructions
• Comfort working with changing priorities and varying order volume
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and product handling requirements
• Comfort with standing for extended periods and lifting or moving product up to 45lbs occasionally
