Job summary

Sam's Club in Austin, TX is seeking a Cake Decorator to join the bakery team. You will collaboratively deliver high‑quality decorated items, assist members, and help maintain in‑stock levels with food safety at the forefront.

You’ll use decorating tools to create flowers and lettering, follow recipes, and support seasonal events. The role offers $21–$29 per hour plus benefits and opportunities through Live Better U.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Plan bakery productions, ensure quality and accuracy of designs, follow recipes and use decorating tools to create flowers and lettering.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience with handheld technology.
• Drive performance of the bakery area, ensure quality/date control, and assist with seasonal events.
• Be a brand advocate, train and inspire others, and foster a respectful, team-oriented environment.
