Job summary

Coborn's Incorporated is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Department with decorating and presenting products, including cakes, pastries and cookies. The role emphasizes guest service, fresh, quality items, and attractive displays while adhering to health and safety regulations.

The position may include back-up duties for the Bakery Department Manager and requires a high school diploma and 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Department by creating and decorating bakery items, including cakes, pastries and cookies.
• Ensure bakery cases are fully stocked with fresh, appealing products.
• Provide continuous guest service and engage guests with samples and suggestive selling.
• Create appealing product displays to attract guests and optimize visibility.
• Back-up duties in the absence of the Bakery Department Manager.

Overview

This position will assist our Bakery Department by creating and decorating delicious bakery products including cakes, pastries, and cookies, and ensuring bakery cases are fully stocked with fresh, appealing products.

The Cake Decorator is responsible for providing continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, ensuring superior quality and freshness of bakery products, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, engaging guests through freshly prepared product samples and suggestive selling, creating appealing product displays to attract guests, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations. Position may perform back-up duties in the absence of the Bakery Department Manager

Pay Range

USD $15.50 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
