Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator at our Old Lyme, CT location to deliver an exceptional customer experience while producing and decorating high-quality cakes and baked goods.

Job description

The Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator produces high quality cakes and baked goods, maintains department conditions, to include proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety standards in the Bakery department. The Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator provides product knowledge and expertise to our customers.

• Must be proficient in cake decorating and ordering (as assigned) for the entire sales areas of the bakery department.
