Reports Directly to: Store Director, Bakery Director, Bakery Deli Director

Your role in the store will be to assist the Bakery Deli Manager in providing creative, quality cakes to our customers.

Daily Operations

• Providing exceptional service to all clientele and sharing your knowledge of bakery and deli goods.
• Creating beautiful custom cake designs with eye appeal.
• Maintaining proper stock levels of decorated and undecorated cakes.
• Ensuring product quality, freshness, and proper dating.
• Maintaining, cleaning, and updating signage in the Bakery Deli Department.
• Assisting with cake orders, inventory, and decorating supplies while providing expert customer service.
• Ensuring timely order fulfillment and pick-ups.

Company Standards

• Following all safety guidelines and reporting any safety equipment issues.
• Adhering to company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag.
• Completing required training for the Bakery Deli Department and staying updated with latest knowledge.

Basic Functions and Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lbs. occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently. Must have dexterous use of both hands, stand, and move about various workstations. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items, and use knives and sharp instruments safely is required. This is medium work requiring good vision, hearing, and physical stamina, including the ability to work on slippery floors.
