Job summary

SBH Foods, a Popeyes franchisee, is seeking a Cook to join our Merritt Island restaurant. You’ll learn Popeyes processes, cook items to brand standards, and contribute to a clean, fast-paced kitchen. No extensive experience required; training is provided and growth opportunities exist within the Heart of House pathway.

You’ll be part of a supportive team with pathways from Cook to Shift Leader and beyond, emphasizing food quality, safety, and hospitality.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old and ready to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes and brand standards.
• Physically able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Popeyes menu items following brand standards.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth service during busy times.
• Learn and master multiple restaurant stations to support team needs.
• Help create a clean, safe, and positive workplace atmosphere.
