Las Vegas, Nevada — MGM Resorts International is seeking a Part Time Cage Cashier to join our dynamic team. You will handle frontline cash transactions with accuracy, assist guests, and support cage operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes 21+ age, high-volume cash handling, teamwork, and professionalism. We offer starting rate of $18.00 per hour plus tips, employee dining, parking, and benefits as part of our hospitality culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform frontline transactions (chip bank, poker, cage credit, employee bank/window) per guidelines.
• Redeem chips, tokens, TITO, Race & Sports tickets, and foreign currency for guests.
• Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts.
• Assist casino guests with information as needed.
• Handle marker/IOU bank and High Limit cage tasks.
• Service patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units.
• Document all recordable transactions and logs accurately.

As a Part Time Cage Cashier, you are an essential part of the guest experience. By processing a variety of financial transactions with accuracy, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude, you help create lasting memories that guests take with them beyond their stay with us. Through fast and efficient service in a high-paced environment, and by supporting both internal and external guests, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cage services.

The STARTING RATE:

$18.00 plus tips

The Day-to-day

• Perform a variety of frontline transactions, including chip bank, poker, cage credit, employee bank/window transactions, and the cashing of all check types for guests, within specified guidelines
• Redeem chips, tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), Race and Sports tickets, and all acceptable types of foreign currency for casino guests
• Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts
• Assist Casino Guests by providing general information as needed
• Perform functions in a marker/IOU bank as well as High Limit cage
• Service patron Kiosk/TRU units as needed, along with employee Recycler/JetSafe units
• Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets
• Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately, complete transaction logs manually, as necessary
• Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be 21 years or older
• 1+ years of high-volume cash handling experience required
