Job summary

The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is seeking a Cage Cashier to join our team at our California casino. You will balance the Main Bank, process cash and chip transactions, and help maintain accurate inventory while delivering the Five Star Experience to guests and team members.

Responsibilities include recording assets, performing currency drops, and ensuring compliance with MICS/TICS and internal controls during every shift.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months banking, cashiering and/or related experience and/or training.
• Must pass periodic random drug screens.
• Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
• Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
• Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and all Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards.
• Maintain all Cage and Casino assets in the Main Bank room located within the Cage area.
• Responsible for accounting for assets using the Main Bank Accountability and Inventory sheets and ensuring they are balanced at the end of each shift.
• Accurately completes the Inventory section sheet by recording chips, cash, checks, total impress window figures, and all casino banks issued.
• Must be able to operate a 10-key calculator.
• Maintain security and accountability to company funds located in the cage during a shift.
• Assist employees with monetary transactions.
• Receive Table Games chip and currency drop.
• Verify/replenish currency for ATR cassettes
• Replenish all cage windows to the imprest amount.
• Receive all slot tickets cashed during the shift.
• Receive all checks cashed during the shift.
