Penn Medicine is seeking a reliable Cafeteria Associate to support daily food service operations and catered events at Lancaster General Hospital. You will help prepare and serve food and beverages, assist customers, and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.

We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Cafeteria Associate to support daily food service operations and catered events. In this role, you will help prepare and serve food and beverages, assist customers, and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
Prepare and store food and beverage items according to established guidelines
Accurately portion and present food in an appealing manner
Maintain well-stocked and organized self-serve stations
Assist with catered events, including tracking items distributed and returned
Operate the cash register as needed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cafeteria and dining areas, including equipment
Contribute to a positive and welcoming experience for all customers
High School Diploma or GED (required)
At least 1 year of experience in the food service industry
At least 1 year of experience operating a cash register
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Varied shifts between 6am & 9pm
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
