Job summary

Sundown ISD is seeking a Cafeteria Worker to join our school dining team in Texas. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, follow district and state guidelines, and support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently or with a team. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required, and a positive attitude toward serving children is essential.

Cafeteria Worker Position - Sundown ISD

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, serving lines, dining areas, and food preparation equipment
• Assisting with food preparation, stocking, and inventory management
• Following proper food safety and sanitation procedures
• Working collaboratively with cafeteria staff to ensure efficient meal service
• Providing friendly, courteous service to students, staff, and visitors
• Helping create a positive and welcoming cafeteria environment that supports student success
