Job summary

Sand Springs Public Schools in Sand Springs, Oklahoma is seeking a Substitute Cafeteria Worker to support all sites with nutritious meals and smooth kitchen operations.

You will work on an as-needed basis, help cook, clean, serve, and follow menus and food safety standards; OSBI background check and Tulsa County Food Handler's permit required. This is a part-time, on-site position with hours that vary by day.

Qualifications

• Must pass an OSBI background check
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Knowledge of basic math
• Job-related experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Tulsa County Food Handler's permit is required

Responsibilities

• Work on a where-needed, as-needed basis.
• Willing to cook, clean, serve, or whatever is needed to feed our students nutritious meals.
• Follow menus, recipes, and food safety standards.
• Communicate well with staff and management.
• Operate kitchen equipment with dexterity.
• Lift, carry, and push supplies up to 40 lbs; stand for long periods.
