Job summary

Wellbridge is hiring a Full Time Server in Calverton, NY. The role focuses on serving patients and staff in a cafeteria setting, delivering timely service and supporting kitchen and dining area maintenance.

You will read menus, answer questions, help with plating and portion control, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. Qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalent, excellent customer service, teamwork, English fluency, and optional bilingual EN/ES.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, friendly and courteous.
• Willing to work as a team.
• Written and verbal English; bilingual EN/ES preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and guests.
• Work cooperatively with fellow employees, assisting when necessary.
• Check daily task sheet for assigned station and side work.
• Inspect tables for settings/cleanliness; replace as needed.
• Read the menu and know selections; answer questions or escalate.
• Assist in plating and proper portion controls for items served.
• Ensure meals are appetizing; present well.
• Store items properly with labeling, QA, and rotation.
• Maintain condiments/supplies for next meal; clean as needed.
• Handle cleaning duties and sanitation of dining/service areas.
• Monitor dietary needs; suggest menu items when appropriate.
• Wear clean uniform; maintain positive attitude.
