Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Dietary Services Associate to support kitchen operations, food prep, tray assembly, and delivery to patients across locations. You will assist with menu planning, dietary orders, and sanitation to ensure patient safety and quality service.

The role requires strong attention to dietary restrictions, teamwork, and ability to operate kitchen equipment. On-site work with rotating shifts and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Two years of food service experience required.
• Dietary tech degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per general or special diets.
• Deliver trays to patients and maintain tray accuracy.
• Assist with menu selection and diet modifications as directed by RDNs.
• Stock units and maintain sanitation, temperature logs, and equipment cleanliness.
