Job summary

Lansing School District is seeking a GSRP Noon Assistant for Cavanaugh to support cafeteria operations and meal service. The role focuses on maintaining a clean dining area, assisting with lunch procedures, and helping staff during busy service times.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be capable of performing manual tasks, and work with students in a school setting. The position runs four days per week (Monday–Thursday) for 1.75 hours daily, with an hourly wage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and follow instructions.
• Previous experience working with students in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Wipe & clean tables between meal services.
• Assist students with food trays.
• Provide punctual, reliable, and respectful service to your assigned school.
• Occasionally supervise students independent of other school administrators.
• Interact with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Other duties as assigned to support the Lansing School District mission.
