Job summary

CAL FIRE is seeking a Food Service Technician I to support dining operations and meal service at state facilities. The role involves serving meals, setting tables, receiving and delivering food from the kitchen, and maintaining table linen and dining areas.

You will assist in food preparation as needed, operate dishwashing and other culinary equipment, and help with related duties to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for residents and staff.

• Serving of foods and beverages: arranges dining room furniture, sets tables, receives and serves food from kitchen, clears tables after meals, cares for table linen, assists in food preparation and related work in the kitchen.
