Chartwells K-12 is hiring for full-time and part-time DISHWASHER positions at KIPP Texas Public Schools in Houston, TX. Shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and prior dish room experience is required. The role focuses on keeping dishes, pots, pans, and prep areas clean and sanitary in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Prior dish room experience is required.
• Shifts include early mornings (6:00 am–2:30 pm).

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses dirty dishes; washes by hand or uses racks/conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate tools; maintains sanitation standards.
• Maintains safe, clean work areas and follows safety procedures.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Cleans floors, surfaces and prep areas; handles waste properly.
• Loads and unloads supplies; performs other duties as assigned.
