Responsibilities

• Assist the cafeteria manager with work tasks as requested.

St. Philip Neri Catholic School is looking for a dependable person to join our cafeteria team as a Food Service Assistant. Food service experience is ideal, but not required. This position is a part time position, Monday through Friday, that follows a school calendar. The successful candidate will be a reliable, team-oriented individual, with a strong work ethic, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment. Essential functions: clean utensils, equipment, storage, and food preparation/serving areas. The candidate will also wash and prep fresh fruits and vegetables for our breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, to include arranging and packaging food for service. Washing dishes and general clean up of food prep areas will be included. The candidate will also assist the cafeteria manager in completion of work activities as requested.

Upon hire, the individual will be required to complete the Catholic Archdiocese Safe Parish training and a criminal background check.
