Job summary

Walmart Kingston, NY is hiring for an associate role focused on delivering excellent customer service, food safety, and efficient store operations. You will act as a team member, expert in food preparation, and operator of digital tools to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities include stocking, ensuring product quality, assisting members with purchases, and embracing a leadership mindset to support a positive, safe, and efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Safety Certification.
• Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specs, educate associates, communicate effectively, adapt to business needs.
• Be an Expert: prepare food per item specs, plan for future/mass productions, ensure food safety, sanitation, cold chain, inventory, operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, train associates, make decisions with handheld devices.
• Be an Owner: stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, reduce waste, assist members with purchases and inquiries.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: act as brand advocate, mentor others, promote respectful teamwork.
