Panera Bread in New Bern, NC is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warmth, care, and joy with every guest interaction. You’ll assist in production, prep, service, cashier and other duties to support a welcoming bakery-cafe experience for local communities.

Qualifications

• Age requirement: minimum 16+ years old.
• Clear verbal and written communication with guests, managers and teammates in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic food safety understanding; Food Handler’s Card if required by law.
• Food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assist in production, prep, service, cashier, expo, drive-thru, barista and guest-experience tasks.
• Assemble salads, soups and sandwiches with care and accuracy.
• Maintain clean and safe dining areas following food safety standards.
• Be adaptable to daily priorities and changes while delivering our best to guests.
• Support team by completing cleaning, stocking, and setup for the next shift.
