Barnes & Noble is seeking a Café Team Expert (CTE) in Stillwater, OK to lead the café team and develop staff knowledge to create a welcoming environment for customers. You will connect data to impact sales, trends, waste, and inventory while collaborating with the Store Manager on café action plans to achieve results.

You will model strong behaviors, maintain reliable attendance, and drive cafe performance through proactive coaching and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Master operational café competencies including drink preparation and display standards.
• Coach and develop team on speed of service and order accuracy.
• Manage inventory and costs related to food and beverages.
• Run a quick, efficient register and assist on the floor.
• Review sales, waste and inventory data to improve profitability.
• Ensure loss-prevention and safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to implement café action plans.
