Job summary

The Veterans Canteen Service at the Decatur VA Medical Center in Georgia is hiring full/part-time Food Service Workers to provide exceptional service in our cafes and retail markets. You will support food preparation, handle basic tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe environment for Veterans and visitors.

Ideal candidates have customer service excellence, can read instructions and perform basic math, and can lift up to 40 pounds. Experience in food service is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and bend as needed.
• Must be able to lift or move objects up to 40 pounds.
• A current, valid REAL ID is required.
