Job summary

Oak View Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Café Prep Cook to support multiple café concepts and grab-and-go offerings. You will prepare fresh ingredients, portion recipes, and ensure quality, safety, and sanitation standards throughout each shift.

This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00 - $24.00. Previous kitchen or café experience is preferred, and food handler certification is required or obtainable within the timeframe. This is a part-time position through the Open until Oct 9, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in café/quick-service kitchens is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Food handler certification required or ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning according to recipes and production sheets.
• Prepare sauces, dressings, soups, sandwiches, salads, and café items.
• Label, date, and store all prepared food using FIFO; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Support opening, stocking, and organization of kitchen stations during service.
• Assist with catering and special event preparation as needed.
