The role emphasizes driving sales, managing labor, and executing cost controls. You will engage with the local community, support cafe marketing efforts, and embody Panera’s mission of serving food with purpose every day.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Passion for guest service and team development.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe Food certification a plus, training provided

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence and Guest Experience: Lead day to day cafe operations while maintaining a warm guest experience, uphold food quality and safety standards, ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• People and Culture Leadership: Hire, train, coach, and develop a high performing cafe team, foster a people-first culture, empower assistant managers and staff to grow.
• Business and Financial Management: Drive sales, labor efficiency, and cost controls to meet goals; support financial performance through planning and accountability; safeguard assets with strong controls.
• Community and Brand Engagement: Represent Panera Bread in the local community, support marketing initiatives and guest engagement, live Panera mission daily.
