Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Veterans Canteen Service at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center in Massachusetts is hiring full-time Food Service Workers to deliver fast-paced, friendly service in cafés and retail markets for America's Heroes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares beverages such as coffee, latte, cappuccino, and smoothies.
• Prepares sandwiches and food items including breakfast and lunch options.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation per health standards.
• Stores food properly to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
• Prepares foods according to orders following approved procedures.
• Works with varying temperatures (hot and cold).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
