Boxcar Coffee Roasters in Boulder, CO is hiring a Cafe Dishwasher to support the cafe, bakery, and kitchen teams. You will keep dishware clean, bus tables, operate the dishwasher, and help with general cafe upkeep while prioritizing guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are able to stay positive under pressure, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long shifts, and collaborate with a friendly, detail‑oriented team to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds safely
• Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 hour shift

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
• Bussing tables and cafe space upkeep as needed
• Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
• Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
• Working as one kitchen supporting kitchen, bakery and cafe staff as needed
• Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
• Following all cleanliness and safety protocols

Position Overview

Your responsibilities as a Cafe Dishwasher will include, but are not limited to:

Compensation:

Average of 14 - 16 hours per week: Hourly $19.50 - $22.00 hr.
