Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; flexible to work in other areas as business needs require.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; understands and plans future productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld devices to support production, ordering, club pickup, training and product quality with customers in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages adoption.
• Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; reduces waste; assists members with purchasing decisions and payment types; locates merchandise; resolves member issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; motivates and supports others to work in a respectful, team-oriented style; helps identify roadblocks and assists in training.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics and integrity standards; uses Open Door Policy; applies these in business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; sets priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and findings; identifies opportunities for improvement and adapts to change.
