Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
  • Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal production; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; minimize waste; provide member service by acknowledging needs and assisting with purchasing decisions; handle payments and merchandise location; resolve member issues.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; inspire and support others to work in a respectful, collaborative style; assist in training and removing roadblocks.
  • Comply with company policies and ethical standards; apply Open Door Policy in daily work and business practices.
  • Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location. Premiums may apply in certain circumstances.
