Job Summary
This role is centered on preparing and selling ready‑to‑eat foods while maintaining high standards of food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. Team members collaborate across functions, use technology to support sales and performance, and act as brand ambassadors.
Responsibilities
- Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and adapt to business needs in various areas.
- Expert: Prepare food according to specifications, plan future and mass productions, anticipate seasonality, adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines, manage cold chain compliance, inventory, equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitation, and execute product layout understanding.
- Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality while keeping the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Owner: Drive area performance, stock and rotate merchandise, enforce quality and date control standards, reduce waste, provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, handling payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues.
- Talent Ambassador: Serve as a brand advocate, develop, influence, and inspire a respectful and supportive team culture, understand roadblocks, and assist in training others.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, applying open door policy and related action plans in business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvements; and adapt to change and feedback.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
- Preferred: Food Safety Certification, Food Service Certificate, Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage).
Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
