Job summary

Leidos is seeking three CAEG Systems Administrators to provide specialized support and ensure 99.9% uptime for FAA CAEG engineering assets across multiple regional sites. The role covers Windows, Unix, Linux, SAN, CAD/CAE environments and requires FAA clearance.

You'll administer Autodesk and Bentley licensing, ProjectWise and EDMS, manage AD, backups, and DR planning, and mentor engineers while delivering weekly and monthly metrics on system performance and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Hands-on experience as a System Administrator for Bentley ProjectWise.
Hands-on experience as a System Administrator for Autodesk Vault.
Technical experience working with Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk ReCap.

Responsibilities

System Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor Windows, Unix, and Linux server environments; tune SANs for data throughput.
CAD/CAE Application & License Administration: Administer Autodesk and Bentley licensing servers; manage ProjectWise Integration Server and EDMS.
Cybersecurity Compliance: Manage AD objects and enforce granular access control; patching and remediation to FAA timelines.
Database Administration & Disaster Recovery: Daily replication and EDMS backups; test DR plan in NetApp environment.
Tier 3 Technical Support & Mentorship: Escalation point for CAD/CAE failures; mentor engineers.
Reporting: Produce weekly status reports, uptime metrics, patch logs, and DR exercise reports.
