Divergent is seeking a CAE Principal Software Architect to lead the design and development of high-performance, interactive 3D CAE applications for desktop and web platforms. You will shape frameworks, patterns, and methodologies across engineering disciplines and guide teams to deliver scalable, reliable software.

This role focuses on GPU-enabled compute, advanced graphics, and robust integration with CAE solvers and platforms, while mentoring engineers and ensuring architectural consistency

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software architecture and desktop application development.
• Demonstrated expertise designing and developing high-performance 3D CAE applications.
• Strong understanding of graphics pipelines, UI architecture, and performance optimization.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple projects and teams.
• Familiar with CAE/PLM ecosystems like Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture and design of high-performance 3D desktop and web-based CAE apps across multiple engineering programs.
• Establish frameworks, patterns, and methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and reuse.
• Architect GPU-enabled job execution and scheduling components for compute-intensive workflows.
• Drive innovative solutions for graphics, UI, performance, and software integration challenges.
• Mentor engineers on desktop 3D app development and software quality.
