Job summary

Montana Youth Challenge Academy in Dillon, MT is seeking a part-time Medication Pass Technician to supervise cadets' self-administration of prescribed and over-the-counter medications in strict accordance with prescriptions.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate Medication Accountability Records, verify identity and dosage, and support ongoing program operations. Healthcare safety and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a citizen of the United States.
• Must pass background and driving record checks.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Montana driver’s license.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment and on-going random drug screenings.
• Must demonstrate ability to work with diverse environments within the Department of Military Affairs.
• Past training in or willingness to be trained in medication pass for self-administration protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cadet's self-administration of prescription and/or over-the-counter medications.
• Maintain accurate data related to medication self-administration in the Medical Accountability Record.
• Verify Cadet identity, dosage, and correct self-administration in all instances.
• Occasionally perform other duties in support of ongoing program operations.
