Job summary

JGMS Government Services LLC in Albuquerque, NM seeks a CADD Technologist to join our engineering team. You will design components, create 3D models and detailed drawings for next generation accelerators and pulsed power systems, and collaborate with engineers and procurement to ensure manufacturability and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma with 3+ years CAD experience, proficiency in 3D modeling and GD&T, and the ability to obtain DOE L clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus three or more years of directly related experience in CADD
• Proficiency in creating mechanical product design definition including 3D solid models and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency with PTC/CREO, PDMLink (Windchill), and GD&T
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L security clearance

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and drawings to build next generation accelerators and pulsed power machines
• Partner with engineers and scientists in developing designs
• Discuss and interpret design concepts and identify requirements of detailed working drawings
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers on design, schedule, materials selections
• Manage documentation in collaborative engineering environment with product data management tools and approvals
