Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to transform engineering sketches into detailed plans using AutoCAD or MicroStation. You will support Transportation projects and collaborate with engineers to ensure plan accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT’s Motor Vehicle screening.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Able to pass Background Check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
• Preferred: technical school training and transportation project experience.

Responsibilities

• Transfer engineering sketches and details to plans utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation.
• Make basic engineering computations and prepare/revise specifications.
• Make quality control corrections to contract drawings.
• Prepare exhibits for reports, public meetings or presentations.
