Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Specialist (Intermediate) to support our government client in the National Capital Region, Washington, D.C. The role focuses on facility planning, furniture layouts, signage, graphics, and sustainability requirements.

The candidate will assist LEED certification and commissioning efforts and act as an SME for SMS Builder, Builder, and EquipMapper, coordinating with system engineers to integrate SMS Builder with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• LEED certification and commissioning or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years CAD/BIM drafting experience.
• Experience with furniture layout and spatial compliance.
• Construction Documents inclusion of layouts.
• Coordination of electrical and network requirements.
• Experience with signage/graphics and sustainability initiatives.
• Strong cross-discipline coordination with engineering and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide CAD/CADD services for facilities and interior spaces.
• Develop furniture layout plans based on program requirements.
• Coordinate furniture placement for code compliance and circulation.
• Incorporate final layouts into Construction Documents.
• Coordinate electrical and network requirements for spaces.
• Support signage and graphics design tied to facility requirements.
• Support LEED certification and commissioning activities.
• Serve as SME for SMS Builder, Builder, and EquipMapper.
• Integrate SMS Builder with TRIRIGA systems.
• Connect SMS Builder calculations to Real Property Inventory (RPI).
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and facilities teams.
