CADD Operator with knowledge of computer aided drafting and design for Utilities, Architectural, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, and System drawings for rail transit systems, and/or major infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Serve as the CADD Operator and Designer to produce as-built drawings for SFMTA TCUP project.
- Coordinate work with team members and other design disciplines.
- Review and interpret civil drawings and track as-built drawings
- Recreating track alignment under direction of Track Engineer
- Flexibility with tasks that may not be related to CADD
- Building database/spreadsheets
- Producing non-CADD deliverables
Qualifications and Experience
- Civil engineer background (does not need PE license)
- Familiar with Civil 3D
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience is required.
- Experience in utilizing AutoCAD for preparation of engineering drawing for rail transit systems, utility power systems, or infrastructure projects is required.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong capabilities in the use of AutoCAD
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word)
- Able to work in integrated team and work in dynamic, fast-paced environment
Desirable (In addition to required qualifications and experience)
- Experience in design and/or engineering assignments on transportation projects.
- Experience in PowerPoint and Visio.
- Knowledge of electrical, systems, or civil design for infrastructure projects.
Full-time on-site assignment, working in San Francisco near City Hall
