Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc., a full-service engineering and construction firm and member of the Michels Family of Companies, is seeking a CAD Technician II to work with in-house engineers to produce CAD drawings for earth retaining structures and deep foundations using AutoCAD 2D.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with a skilled team, and the use of state-of-the-art CAD standards. Occasional 3D modeling may be required to understand design constraints.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D (required)
• Proficient in Civil 3D and/or Revit (desired)
• A valid driver's license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Create engineered drawing submittals for design/build earth retaining structures and deep foundations
• Develop civil/structural plan overlays, profile views, section views and connection details in 2D AutoCAD; occasional 3D modeling to resolve design constraints
