The Bridges and Structures Practice is seeking a CAD Technician in Denver, CO. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, using cutting‑edge tools and software to turn concepts into reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and graphics for a variety of transportation structures including reinforced concrete, pre‑stressed concrete, and steel designs.
• Translate engineering markups into polished construction documents, maintaining precision and consistency.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer.
• Support design tasks under the direction of licensed engineers using industry standards such as AASHTO.
• Maintain structured drawing files, adhere to company drafting standards, and support project‑specific standards as needed.
• Collaborate through file‑sharing systems like ProjectWise and participate in quality assurance reviews.
• Track quantities, update contract drawings, and contribute to project success within scope, budget, and schedule.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of drafting experience with a focus on bridge or structural engineering projects.
• Associate of Applied Science in Civil Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transportation projects and/or Department of Transportation (CODOT, UDOT, ODOT, WSDOT, ITD).
• Strong communication skills and a passion for precision.
